We could postpone it to next year, too.

We of Googled are the first to acknowledge our debt to Ryan C. for
planting a box in Leon's Bookstore and then posting it on the web. It
was through the owner of Leon's googling the name that we found out
about the pasttime. We are his direct decendents -- red-headed step-
children all; however, I am not sure Ryan is heading back here at the
end of his walk. He has said he will be looking for work. Jobs are
scarce here.

I guess the best bet is for us to just go ahead and schedule an event
and maybe post it here or just write to the folks who might be in CA.
Those that can come will; those who cannot we will miss.

BTW, what types of activities have any of you seen at events that you
liked? What might you want to see?

I'm not sure what the weather is like in SLO around Sept. it's still dang hot in Kernville, so hopefully a cool shady spot is available if it is hot. I wouldn't worry about how many get togethers are going to be set up." Plant them and they will come". Also not to worry about how far, heck we are 200 miles from LA and 200 miles from SLO. We may be setting up a spring time get together here in Kernville as it may be the only opportunity to have our 20 boxes hit plus we have another activity "Letterboxing on the river". Don
